Heart to Heart responded to the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, spurred by the devastating impact of war, by enlisting the expertise of the CIAC team to produce a fleet of portable clinics. In tandem, Heart to Heart facilitated the delivery of hundreds of hygiene kits to the CIAC warehouse in Bel Aire, Kansas. With the invaluable assistance of local volunteers, these kits were meticulously packaged and loaded into the containerized clinics, to be distributed upon reaching their final destinations. A total of 15 clinics were dispatched to Ukraine, strategically deployed by Heart to Heart to areas where infrastructure had been ravaged by bombings. Despite the logistical challenge of sourcing medical equipment for some units, CIAC swiftly executed the project by leveraging existing inventory. The endeavor entailed three separate shipments, navigating the complexities of a global supply chain slowdown. Upon arrival, these clinics became a lifeline, providing much-needed healthcare services to the Ukrainian people during this dire period. Since then, the clinics have been moved to different regions in need, continuing to bring hope and healing to as many residents as possible.
